Data Deletion Request

This page explains how users of Otofix can request deletion of personal data associated with their account. It is published for Google Play Data Safety, Apple App Store privacy requirements, and general user transparency.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from your registered address to support@otofix.services with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
2. Include your full name, registered email, and registered phone number exactly as they appear on your Otofix account.
3. Include a clear statement that you want your Otofix account and associated personal data deleted.
4. We may contact you to verify identity before processing the request.

Response time

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or complex linked records.

What will be deleted

Upon approval, we delete or anonymise account profile data, authentication identifiers, and personal contact details where deletion is technically feasible and legally permitted.

What may be retained

Certain records may be retained when legally required or legitimately necessary for:

• Security investigations and fraud prevention
• Audit trails and platform integrity
• Legal obligations and regulatory requests
• Dispute resolution and enforcement of our Terms
• Verified workshop service records that form part of a vehicle’s historical chain (personal identifiers may be removed where possible)

Mobile app users

If you installed the Otofix Android app, you may also clear local app data from your device settings. Account deletion must still be requested by email so server-side records can be processed.
