This Privacy Policy explains how Otofix, operated by ESTIO Technology Development SPC, collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services in the Sultanate of Oman.

• Profile image (when you upload one)

Vehicle information

• VIN and chassis number

Documents and OCR

• Mulkiya and related vehicle document uploads
• OCR extraction results derived from uploaded documents
• User confirmations and corrections to extracted fields

Platform activity

• Workshop discovery, bookings, and service leads
• Service history records and verified workshop events
• Vehicle trust information and signed history reports
• AI Advisor conversation inputs and responses
• Crash diagnostics and troubleshooting reports (when submitted)

Technical information

• Mobile app version information
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• IP address and security logs

2. How we use your information

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• Account registration, authentication, and profile management
• Vehicle registration, history management, and trust reporting
• Workshop discovery, booking, and lead routing
• Mulkiya OCR processing and document-assisted vehicle onboarding
• AI automotive assistance and support workflows
• Platform security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection
• Service improvement, diagnostics, and customer support
• Legal compliance, audit, and dispute resolution

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Approved workshops when you submit a booking, lead, or service request relevant to that workshop
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate our servers, storage, and networking
• Email, OTP, and notification providers used to deliver account and service messages
• OCR and AI processing providers where you have consented or where processing is required to deliver the feature
• Government or legal authorities when required by applicable law, court order, or lawful regulatory request

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to operate the platform, maintain vehicle and service records, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and protect the security and integrity of Otofix. Some records may be retained after account closure where retention is required or permitted by law.

7. Children

Otofix is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@otofix.services.

Your data may be processed by cloud and technology providers operating outside the Sultanate of Oman. Where this occurs, we apply appropriate contractual and security safeguards consistent with the nature of the service.
