Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Otofix (website, mobile app, or APIs), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Platform description

Otofix is a vehicle trust, workshop discovery, vehicle history, service management, and automotive intelligence platform operating in the Sultanate of Oman. Features may include vehicle records, Mulkiya uploads, OCR extraction, workshop bookings, AI assistance, and verified service history.

3. User accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require OTP or email verification.

4. Vehicle information responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of vehicle details you submit. You must have lawful authority to upload documents and register vehicles. False or misleading VIN, chassis, or ownership information may result in suspension.

5. Workshop discovery and booking

Workshop listings, availability, and responses are provided by independent businesses. Otofix facilitates discovery and booking requests but does not employ workshop staff or guarantee appointment acceptance.

6. Mulkiya uploads

You may upload vehicle licence documents for onboarding and verification assistance. You confirm you are authorised to submit such documents and that uploads comply with applicable law.

7. OCR services

OCR extraction is assistive technology. Extracted fields may be incorrect. You must review and confirm results before they are used in your vehicle profile.

8. AI Advisor services

AI responses are informational only and not professional mechanical advice, inspection results, or safety certifications. Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for workshop inspection.

9. Platform availability

We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or third-party outages may affect access.

10. Intellectual property

Otofix branding, software, design, and content are owned by ESTIO Technology Development SPC or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse platform assets except as permitted in normal use.

11. Acceptable use

You agree to use Otofix lawfully and respectfully. You must not interfere with platform security, scrape data without permission, or misuse workshop or customer information obtained through the service.

12. Prohibited activities

• Submitting fraudulent vehicle, document, or identity information
• Impersonating another person, workshop, or Otofix staff
• Attempting unauthorised access to accounts, APIs, or infrastructure
• Uploading malware or abusive content
• Using the platform for unlawful surveillance, harassment, or spam

13. Fraud prevention

We may monitor for suspicious activity, verify documents, and cooperate with workshops or authorities to protect platform integrity.

14. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose security risk, or are required to be restricted by law. You may stop using Otofix at any time; some records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement except where prohibited.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law, ESTIO Technology Development SPC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use, workshop services, AI guidance, or OCR results. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid Otofix for the relevant paid service in the preceding twelve months, or OMR 50 if no fees were paid, unless a higher minimum is required by law.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Oman unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
